Insomnia, the Digital Innovation Hub partner of Blockpool.eu project, has celebrated today 30th June 2020 an online session to welcome the 25 SMEs selected for funding and to participate in the Business and Technical Support Program that will run during the following 10 months.

- Help start-ups and SMEs to turn their pilot ideas into viable businesses.
- Provide training and mentoring by specialists.
- Support them to make contacts and access blockchain and DLT
- Give financial support of 30.000€ to each SME to develop its project idea.
Blockpool.eu is enthusiastic about working closely to the SMEs and guides them through its pilot’s development and project implementation in order to meet the strategic objective: accelerate the cross-border uptake and deployment of Blockchain and other DLTs by European SMEs. The primary ambition of Blockpool.eu project is to lead to a more cutting-edge and competitive European industry as well as to the structuring of the emerging value chain of BDLTs beyond financial markets. It is in that sense intended to focus on BDLTs at a post-prototyping stage that SMEs can adapt to their business through BDLT-testing activities that can be either demonstration oriented or/and focused on adaptation.
The Business and Technical Support Program (Acceleration) has just kicked off in June 2020 with the delivery of a MOOC: “Introduction to Digital Currencies and Blockchains‘‘ and will follow up with the first Series of Webinars: “Blockchain Business Analysis‘‘. The training activities as well as the celebration of bootcamps are open to the general public so we invite blockchain lovers to stay tunned and join in this Blockpool adventure!
