Horst Treiblmaier is a Professor in International Management at Modul University Vienna, Austria. He worked as a Visiting Professor at Purdue University, University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), University of British Columbia (UBC), and the University of Technology in Sydney (UTS). His research interests include the economic and business implications of blockchain and the evolution of the token economy. He teaches blockchain-related topics and is a frequent speaker at academic conferences and industry events.
Blanca Zutta is Blockchain Strategist and an active member of the CBDC & Monetary Policy Task Force within the Regulatory Group of the Crypto Valley Association (CVA). She holds an MBA with thesis on alternative funding methods for Blockchain projects such as ICOs, EIOs, and STOs. Apart from this she has 15′ years of experience in policy design and implementation in trade-related Capacity Building Programmes targeting developing countries and LDCs for the World Trade Organization.
Simon Hess is research associate and PhD candidate at the University of Salzburg. In his PhD thesis he investigates legal and economic aspects of Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs). He holds a master’s degree in Business Information Systems from the University of Göttingen. His master’s thesis dealt with stable coins and their potential application in machine to machine (M2M) payments. Apart from this, he is the vice chairman of the German NGO Monetative, which is concerned with research and education on the monetary system and, more recently, with strong emphasis on CBDC.
Valeria Aragones Diaz is a blockchain consultant and crypto-economics researcher at Konfido. Her work focuses on business strategies and the implementation of strategic initiatives for blockchain-based innovation projects. She has been the host for “Blockchain Nights” at Humboldt University and an active member of the crypto community in Berlin since 2017. Valeria holds a Diploma in Economics from the University of Havana and will complete her master’s degree in Economics and Management Sciences (MEMS) from Humboldt University in 2021.
